Sam grew up writing stories, obsessing over films and drawing on everything. She studied Psychology, Advertising and Literature in school where she thought a lot about the effect that media has on psychology, that imagery has on society, and specifically the influence of cinema. She’s worked at Partizan in both Paris and LA and in Prettybird’s development department. She’s also worked as a writer’s assistant and has been a production assistant on numerous film and photo shoots. She now lives mostly in New York City where she writes and directs her own work, thinks a lot about Louis CK and takes photos of the people she meets. Her muses are Stanley Kubrick, Nan Goldin and Daniel Clowes.
