Space and childhood are two realities we all have an understanding of, but both far away lands. Our memories of childhood are often fogged, abstract and precious as they play out in our heads, almost seeming like they too have no gravity. Floating through those thoughts we might almost feel like a time traveling astronaut inside an expanse of moments that were filled by laughter and light. Recalling near forgotten things, hearing certain voices louder than others, eternally returning to the moments that first inspired us.
Anyway, you get the idea. We’ve all seen footage of space and have all been children. What I want to do is create an epic and intimate feeling between the two of them. Showing how they’re obviously very different worlds, but the kind of places where big-time curiosity comes to life.
