Born and bred in a succession of Danish hamlets, Mette soon developed a severe case of itchy feet and set off to explore distant lands, mainly warm ones. After a few years as a tropical nomad, she settled in The UK to study photography at London College of Communication. Her student job at the legendary Claire De Rouen photography book shop not only deepened her love for the art form but also led her into the hallowed halls of commercial production. She has freelanced as an assistant, pitch writer and Visualiser for top-end directors ever since. Also a documentary filmmaker Mette has a keen eye for the poignant and the comedic in everyday life but is equally enthralled with whimsical concepts and aesthetic indulgence. Her muses include Miranda July, Charlie Kaufman and Wong Kar Wai.
