Shari has been in advertising as an actor since the age of 11. After graduating NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Shari starred in the iconic Indie Film, The Brothers McMullen that won The Sundance Film Festival. She has been called a comedic actress with depth and this is an ethos she brings to every creative endeavor she does. Ultimately, she is a storyteller and after being on countless sets and stages in New York, LA, and Paris, she realized she wanted to create the tales she told. She started to write her own scripts, essays and articles, launching a second career. She has written for everyone from The Huffington Post to the LA Weekly, and many in print and online periodicals in between. Shari has also created and produced her own comedy web series, written stage plays and numerous half-hour TV pilots, and recently has been focusing on crafting film and commercial treatments. Muses include but are not limited to Madeline Kahn, Joan Didion, Dorothy Parker, her wire hair dachshund, and truffle cheese.
